Exhaust Pipe Technology
Vance & Hines pioneered aftermarket heat shields. These shields allow 220 degrees of coverage to eliminate the sight of bluing head pipes or mufflers. They also act as a barrier to protect from the heat of the head pipes and mufflers.

Stepped header design improves performance in racing and streetbikes. Vance & Hines have long utilized stepped headers in its sport bike and drag racing applications. The steps create different speeds for the exhausts gases to travel creating more power and torque.
