AMD’s 3rd annual 2006 Official World Championship was successfully staged to widespread industry acclaim during the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota at the beginning of August this year.
Japanese Builder Wins 2006 Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building
Sturgis, South Dakota, August 7th 2006: Chicara Nagata of Chicara Motorcycles in Saga, Japan, was voted the 2006 Official World Champion Custom Bike Builder at the third annual staging of what is now regarded by builders and industry insiders alike as the world’s most prestigious open custom bike building competition.

The AMD Official World Championship will now be permanently staged during the Sturgis Rally & Races, and plans for the 2007 venue and event are already being drawn up with over a dozen or so entries already confirmed.
