The joy of owning a cruiser is making it your own. At Team Metric Thunder we build custom bikes to represent the company and help enthusiasts just like you build motorcycles that embody your values and personality. We feel that a cruiser is more than the individual parts on a two wheel sled. It’s the sweat equity that you put into the initial purchase of your two-wheel canvas plus all the work and ideas that you put into the motorcycle to finish the design.
One thing that you need to know and may already know is that you are never finished. You might take a break for budget reasons or you might feel that you are done, but our experience indicates that the majority of riders enjoy adding to the design month after month and year after year.
Managing the Dream Bike Build
In building our award winning custom bikes, we found that Working the Plan and Planning the Work allows us to manage the process. In utilizing a plan, we are able to build exceptional bikes on time and on budget. But most important we are able to get the ideas out on the table before a wrench is turned or a billfold is opened.

Customizing Tip
Exhaust Pipes – Exhaust pipes can really set your bike apart from the crowd. The right one can also improve performance, provide character and change the sound of your motorcycle.
On our custom Kawasaki, we picked a set of Hard Krome pipes to enhance the muscular look of the bike.
Almost all pipes change the characteristics of the engine. Because of this you will need to modify the fuel map or the jets in the carburetor.
We have had excellent results with the Dyno Jet Power Commander for fuel injected engines. It provides precise information for fine-tuning a fuel injected bike when changing an air filter, installing a new exhaust system or doing additional engine performance modifications.
