We’ve got it good in the U.S. of A.

Want to customize you’re cruiser? Well, if you’re livin’ in the good ole U.S. of A., you’re in luck: Metric Thunder has all the motorcycle parts and accessories you need to turn your chopper into one smooth-as-hell ride.
Not so if you’re living in communist Cuba; according to a recent story on CNN, there are about 100 Harleys (1940s-1960 Knuckleheads, Panheads, Duo Glides, and Electro Glides) on the island, but due to the embargo President Eisenhower slapped on them in the ‘60s, motorcycle enthusiasts have had a rough time finding even the simplest of parts.
The guys down in Havana are salvaging pistons from Russian cars and transmissions French vehicles and adapting them to their bikes. Yet they’re still able to maintain original character of the cycles. They say they refuse to let the embargo and communist economics keep them down. We say, keep up the biker spirit…and way to customize!
