January’s Winner of the Thunder Saddle Contest
How would you like an embroidered image of this saucy dish on your saddle? Well Terry Weitzel will be flying a picture of his ol’ lady on his new leather saddle because he won Metric Thunder’s Thunder Saddle Contest sponsored by Saddlemen.
Weitzel rides a 1997 Suzuki Marauder and will have a new custom saddle from Metric Thunder this spring.

About Terry Weitzel
Terry is 37 year old and has been on a bike since he was 16. He didn’t own a car till he was 22. He spent 14 years in the Army. Terry did his part for God and country by spending 13 months in the 1st gulf war. He’s married with 1 kid. Iron worker by trade.
About the Sled
It started out as a stock 1997 Suzuki Marauder and now has so many parts from all the other brands that most of the guys I ride with call it the bastard. Custom paint Red White and Blue with flames, custom bars, and controls, Softtail tail light with custom lights. Neon lights all over the under side with www.mainstreet-studios.com blowing on the color.
Where I Ride
I ride all over Ohio, I go to Deals Gap every year, Rolling Thunder in D.C. for the last 11 years. I ride with an internet club www.migcruisers.com.
Each month we award a custom saddle that is worth up to $649. Each saddle is embroidered by our sponsor, Saddlemen.
Our contest runs 8 months. To date we have given away 3 saddles that equate to $1,900 in value. Enthusiasts will receive over $5,000 in custom saddles when our contest ends later this year.
We decided to use the contest to showcase Metric Thunder’s Thunder Saddle. From flames to tattoos, you can design any look for your saddle. Our program allows you to tattoo your seat with your own tattoo or create a look that is unique to your motorcycle.
