Check out this GREAT true story from our Texas freelance field reporter, BDRAG…

Went for Tuesday night coffee with a few of the Boyz I ride with and my old man. Took the LC since its been 3 or 4 weeks since we last bonded. Weather was just wonderful. Low 70’s and clear, almost no wind, so I left the full face helmet at home. I was just going for a cup and not planning on any hauling ass. Around 8:00pm, after a few hours of lies and tails from WWII to todays BS while in traffic we break camp and head for home. Continued »

Situational Awareness

We all know that it is dangerous out there, especially if you are not paying attention. Situational awareness is the key phrase in this video. As you will see, the rider is alert to what is happening in his peripheral vision but fails to connect to what is in front of him.

Remember, it’s the Holiday time and driving is the last thing our highly motivated shoppers have on their mind.

By the way, to reduce incidents we suggest a gift certificate from Metric Thunder. They are handy and will keep you safe and snug this Holiday season.

Famed builder, Dave Perewitz, had an open house this past weekend and a representative from the North Pole was in attendance!

About Perewitz - In the world of custom motorcycle fabricators, there are people who are well-liked and people who are respected. Only a few are both, and among them, even fewer are acknowledged as deans of their industry. Dave Perewitz is a member — many would say a leader — of that very elite group.

Schwarzenegger Signs Duvall Bill On Motorcycle Performance Parts

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

On October 9, 2007 California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the “Duvall Bill” to make it easier for Golden State riders to buy custom motorcycles. “I’m very pleased that the Governor signed AB 829 and took a stand to help both the environment and bikers across the state,” says Assemblyman Mike Duvall. “Customizing a bike is a long-standing tradition of biker culture. Motorcycles were green before ‘going green’ was fashionable. Most of them get around 50 miles to the gallon and can get even more with the help of custom parts.” Continued »
