Description
Wider or taller handlebars and risers will require longer throttle, clutch cables and brake hoses to ride safely. We offer heavy duty black vinyl with braided black hoses in plus 1″ to 12″ over stock length. Cable sets (hoses included) are custom made to the length that you specify. It is best practice to purchase, mount the new handlebars and measure from the OE cable fitting to the mounted controls. The length you are short is called the plus length. There is no standard measurement as there are riser, bend and angle variations that can add length. 1″ too long is not a problem 1″ too short is a problem. The correct measurement is the responsibility of the the purchaser.
Electrical lengthening may be required depending on how much length you need. This is done with soldering in lengths of wire with staggered joints. This is the responsibility of the motorcycle owner.
The image may not exactly represent the correct fittings for your bike as there is some variation depending on model year. The 2013 up models have a two piece brake line with a manifold between. The top line will be the one extended. The controls configuration is the determining factor. If you are concerned about this please message me before you order. This listing is for the a black kit with chrome ends. Typical delivery is two weeks. Depending on the demand at the time the order is placed. This is a great winter project as it does require some down time.
The hoses come with rubber mounting grommets for a factory look. The banjo fittings are rotatable to take the bind off of the hose for a much cleaner appearance. Crush washers are included.
